About PaladiNet.com

Greetings!

PaladiNet.com is a personal project of one person, Matthew or better known online as Paladin. PaladiNet.com is not only my home site on the net, it is also a portal to my other content-driven sites for my various personal hobbies, you can view these by clicking on the "hosted sites" link in the menu.

Some PaladiNet.com sites are going to be moved and redeveloped in ASP.NET to my new domain www.Light-Crystal.net. Namely (and firstly) this will be the Final Fantasy IV Chronicle.

The PaladiNet.com Mission Statement

Quality and Quantity; quality web design and a comprehensive quantity of quality content are the mission of this site. My goal is to create an intuitive, easy to use, functional, and aesthetically pleasing web domain. As I aspire to acquire marketable skills in the computer & information sciences, PaladiNet.com is a place for me to learn these skills and to provide a testimonial to their practical application.

The goal of the content driven fan-sites hosted at PaladiNet.com is to provide concise, official, and complete information on the given topics at hand as well as maintaining the above global goals of the site.

About The PaladiNet.com site owner and Webmaster

I began designing web pages at age 18 when I began a Computer Science degree at Indiana's Purdue University. Currently PaladiNet.com is the 6th iteration of an ongoing web site project begun initially to chronicle a favorite video game. However when designing any web site my goal has always been to create an aesthetically pleasing and FUNCTIONAL website, where the visitor has easy access to all the content available.

Unfortunately through college and beginning a career...I have had precious little time to devote to this site in the last couple of years. However my career has been web development. I am now a professional full time web developer for a high-end speaker manufacturer (I am immensely proud of this since I am an Audiophile). I have learned an immense amount of web development and design concepts. Much of this is due to having a great "boss"...more of a friend and mentor really... and the typical nose-to-the-grindstone sitting down and doing it learning. In the process I've come to abandon static HTML and the way this site you are reading is designed will be my last design of this type. I have learned ASP.NET server scripting, T-SQL database design and implementation, and various other technologies that will be fully realized in my personal endeavors at a new ASP.NET enabled site in the future.

In any case I hope that you enjoy this website and it's content. Not only did I build it because I wanted to, but I hoped that other people would enjoy it as well. Like the voice said..."if you build it, they will come..."
